"When I was sitting in the room waiting to see Dr. Smith I was so nervous, I was not sure how I was going to disrobe as I was used to seeing all female doctors. When Dr. Smith entered the room I was overcome by his demeanor and it brought a lot of peace to what was a very stressful situation for me. He spoke to me as I was a person rather than just another patient, just another procedure. I was so thankful for his gentleness and compassion to what was a very embarrassing situation for me. He took his time making sure I was aware of all of the possibilities that could happen with liposuction.
I had expressed to him that I saw another surgeon that basically said my situation was hopeless and I needed to accept my imperfections, I was so upset by this.
He had faith that he could improve my situation, I was so elated to hear him speak and put my mind at ease. I did have surgery and it went great! I am so thankful for everything he did for me, he gave me hope that perhaps with him and effort on my part I reach my goals and not have to settle with the parts of me that were flawed. "
